Convex Mirror

Used as an aid to safety, as a security device, or a traffic mirror, a Convex Mirror will protect property and people effectively and economically.


Convex Mirrors are available for indoor use, indoor/outdoor, or traffic control, and are supplied with fittings for wall mounting or pole mounting and come  in the following sizes:-

  •                           450mm            Diameter
  •                           600mm            Diameter
  •                           760mm            Diameter

How to Determine which Convex Mirror to Select :-


The size of the Convex Mirror required depends on the distance and quality of the
image you need.  See Chart below for distances.


This chart is to be used as a guide only :-
                Diameter                                  Distance
                  300mm                                    to      6m
                  450mm                                    to      8m
                  600mm                                    to    12m
                  760mm                                  over   12m


All Convex Mirrors post mounted or wall mounted, are supplied with brackets to suit
the application.


Installation:
            Post Mounted, use 50nb post (62mm diam)
            attach bracket to post with the 4 bolts and nuts supplied
            place the mirror into the bracket tighten the nuts having
            ascertained that the mirror is in the correct position to
            give the required visibility from both directions.


            Wall Mounted, hold the mirror against the wall to determine the
            best position to attach the mounting bracket to achieve the desired
            visibility from both directions, then mount the bracket to the wall
            at that position with suitable fixings for the substrata.
            Place the mirror into the bracket tighten the nuts having Ascertained
            that the mirror is in the correct position to give the required visibility
            from both directions.


Warranty:
All mirrors carry a 1 year Manufacturers Warranty when item has been determined to be
defective.  All other installation related problems are assumed to be the fault of
improper Conditions or installation error.
