FLUSHLYTE

Flushlyte Address - Numbering – Sign System

The FlushLyte, a Black Powder coated Aluminium extrusion with a reflective 3M tape applied to it in a choice of Safety Yellow or White

From this tape we stamp out the Letters, Numbers or Chevron Arrows that are required to complete the sign up to a maximum length of 3.7 metres. The finished product is then over sprayed with a clear two pack polyurethane to seal the tape and prevent the peeling back of the tape by curious fingers. This process gives an anti graffiti quality to the sign as any paint can be removed by applying Paint Thinners to the surface without damaging the FlushLyte

In the Street Addressing application it is fixed to the Kerb with Sure Drive fasteners. These are difficult to remove and would require the use of a coal chisel to achieve theft.

Some Applications for the use of the FlushLyte Signage System.

Kerb Mounted Applications
  •   House Numbering
  •   Street Name Signs
  •   Fire Hydrant Markers
  •   Directional Markers- Chevrons i.e. Roundabouts, Traffic Islands etc.
  •   No Parking  - Reserved Parking - Customer Parking
  •   Motor vehicle rego plate identification at parking spots.
Wall Mounted Applications
  •   Bus Stop  (either Vertical or Horizontal)
  •   Toilets Male – Female
  •   Taxi Stand
The application of the FlushLyte is only limited by your imagination. It is highly visible in daylight as well as being retro-reflective in situations when light hits it at night.

Currently the FlushLyte is being trialed by the Gold Coast City Council as a alternate Kerb mounted Street sign for those signs that are stolen on a regular basis This gives the community a reference while the stolen sign is being replaced

They are also using the FlushLyte as Road Delineation with Chevrons at Roundabouts and Traffic Islands.
